Staying at the Adelphi Hotel in Liverpool I am aware of a reported presence of a ghost on the 5th floor, but this week I experienced something very weird.

On Thursday evening I returned to my room after being out for a couple of hours in the evening to find my room lights on and my bed 'turned back'. I assumed as you do that it must have been a member of staff.

Anyway I brought it up with the desk staff as I booked out for the girl to say "oh, he's done it again"!

She then told me that they have had several instances of the bed being turned back which has been attributed to their resident ghost George, he used to be the manager and likes to ensure his customers enjoy their stay even after his death.
