Good point! The scientific issues are interesting, but I also get fed up with Biblical chapters. Is global warming reversible or is it indeed a waste of all our efforts?

Well, we're probably not helping at all but it is also probably due to natural changes in the environment and the effect of the sun on the earth...in the past, there have been dramatic changes in climate when there were far fewer humans on the planet and no big industries...so maybe half a dozen of one and six of the other...LOL...GBHs...XX

We are not doing a great deal to help, it's a bit 'too little, too late' but we made the mess and should try and clean it up a bit for future generations shouldn't we?

This really is nonsense pretending to be science, were there any truth in it don't you think the multi-national corporations that are polluting the planet would trot it out as an excuse to cover the damage that they are doing to the environment while lining up at the trough.
the biblical reference just cements it for me.

First year of hubby's official retirement...bloody typical...HLOL...didn't like the bit stuck on the end about the Biblical prediction...my mind shut off then...totally unnecessary...still interesting speculation...so all we're doing to prevent global warming is a complete waste of time according to this...
